Job Description
· Having a good understanding of corporate non-life insurance claims
· Directly handling the large and/or complex claims
· Recognizing complex claims and develop appropriate claims strategy and settlement solutions
· Researching, reviewing and interpreting the policy language and laws and regulations as necessary
· Negotiating settlements with policy holders and their representatives
· Reviewing policy wordings and conditions and advise betterments to account management/sales colleagues
· Coordinating communication and information flow between clients and insurance & reinsurance market
· Creating solutions to clients with multiple options
· Supporting all operational process including preparation of claims settlement documents etc.
· Monitoring, analysing changes in the market
· Communicating and collaborating with underwriting, claims, finance and other related teams when necessary
Qualifications
· University degree from a reputable university
· 10+ years' of experience in the insurance & reinsurance sector, or as an insurance & reinsurance broker, or claims advisory
· Familiar with reinsurance regulations in local and global market
· Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and adaptability to new software
· Hardworking, accurate, result oriented professional
· Ability to understand clients’ needs & expectations
· Strong negotiation, presentation, communication skills
· No travel disability
