Abbott Finance Division is looking for Credit Control Specialist/Jr. Specialist reporting to Treasury & Credit Control Supervisor.Job Description
Processing of credit risk facilities extended to the customers of Abbott Turkey ; updating customers credit limits on annual basis and when necessary
Preparation and submission of daily hold reports, obtain required approvals to release them
Responsible from the customer related entries and operations i.e Customer Master File updates, customer payment entries, periodic reconciliation of customer accounts, follow up on financials, letter of guarantee etc.
Keeping a continuous relationship with the customers
Ensure corporate guidelines are maintained within globally set targets
Risk assessment on customer financials and notify management before any potential issues to be faced
Monitor and follow slow paying/outstanding accounts and initiate actions to recover doubtful accounts
Preparation and submission of all AR related reports, develop new reporting tools if required
Responsible for the management of credit insurance processes
Your Qualification
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Econometrics
New graduate or max. 2 years of customer risk management and credit control experience
Motivation for having a career in Credit Control Operations
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Very good analytical skills with strict attention to detail
Good command of English
Strong notion of risk
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; suitable for teamwork
The ability to respect deadlines and the ability to multitask
