We are looking for a Financial Risk Specialist (Customer Risk) to take part in Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla / Istanbul;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office especially Excel knowledge (Data analysis experience is an asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • No restrictions for domestic and international travels


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assisting in the determination of Şişecam Customer Credit Risk and Control policies and checking the compliance of Affiliates with credit policies. To take necessary actions when needed and to update the credit policy periodically.
  • Implementing the Customer Credit Risk Model defining parameters and credit limits according to risk classes
  • Assisting in the evaluation of customer credit limit revision proposals from Business Units
  • Performing Customer Credit limit transfers between Business Units
  • Removing purchase order and shipment blockages in accordance with Customer Credit Risk and Control policies
  • Reviewing customer credit risks using credit management tools.
  • Informing superiors about possible risk reduction actions.
  • Ensuring that customer risk reports are complete and accurate within the system, executing relationships with credit risk assessment companies
  • Calculating performance metrics and KPIs, analyzing the collection performance of Business Units and presenting reports to management when needed
  • Supporting credit insurance and Exim Bank processes, identifying, and suggesting alternative risk transfer methods
  • Supporting dispute processes in cooperation with relevant Business Units and Legal Department
