QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Bitlo, one of Turkey’s oldest and most reliable cryptocurrency exchanges, was founded in 2017 by Mustafa Alpay. Setting out with the mission of “to provide an easy-to-use, transparent, reliable, fast, constantly developing, competitive and sustainable platform where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be exchanged”, Bitlo provides its users to buy and sell more than 50 cryptocurrencies with Turkish lira, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP). Bitlo also funds promising cryptocurrency and blockchain projects in order to lead the sector’s growth. Growing day by day, Bitlo aims to strengthen its position among the domestic cryptocurrency exchanges by taking firm and sustainable steps.
Responsibilities
Collect required data, analyse results using statistical techniques and develop interactive dashboards and provide ongoing reports
Creating dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decisions
Retrieve information from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Performing ongoing analysis of large, complex data sets to understand trends and provide actionable recommendations
Manages projects and/or small teams to support new initiatives or other automation efforts
Translate complex findings into simple visualisations and recommendations for execution
Be part of a fast-paced industry and organisation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (mathematics, computer science, engineering, finance etc.) and Master's degree in (data analytics, data mining, big data etc.)
Work experience in reporting, data analytics or business intelligence
Strong data management skills (data preparation, data quality management etc.)
Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills (analyse, interpret, model etc. )
Knowledge of statistics concepts and methods
4+ years hands on experience with SQL
4+ years hands on experience with one or more programming languages: Python
