QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
· To carry out joint projects with stakeholders in the business family, to support the dissemination of analytical knowledge.
· Research, design and implement descriptive, predictive and inferential models using data science and machine learning techniques to build solutions for core business cases.
· Assist development teams with reports and metrics that will present actionable insights
· Enable visibility into historical data and provide the ability to identify the root causes of change
· Create, implement and improve statistical algorithms to help generate forecasts and predictive recommendations
· Create insightful data visualizations and turn statistical and computational analysis into user-friendly graphs, charts and animations
· Identify new opportunities and advocate your ideas.
· Design A/B test, interpret and present the findings to support business decisions
Qualifications
· Degree and background in a related quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or similar. Advanced degree preferred (MS, Ph.D.).
· 2+ years experience with applied statistical and modeling concepts, machine learning applications, techniques in clustering, classification and optimization algorithms.
· Strong knowledge of Python
· Analytical coding: Using tools such as R, Python or Excel for analytical purposes
· Experience in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills are required. Ability to communicate key modeling concepts and explain relevant aspects of modeling platforms to business partners. Good English communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to implement predictive and causal modeling capabilities end-to-end, from research to ideation to implementation to production.
· Willingness to learn and improve across all technical and business context skill areas. Ability to work in a “high responsibility” environment, including operating in a fast-paced and dynamic organization in which timelines and requirements may change rapidly.
· Fluent English communication skills.
· Male candidates should have completed their military service.
· Candidates residing / able to reside in Ankara.
