Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent practical experience,
- 6+ years of professional work experience as a Data Scientist is required,
- Previous experience in leading a team of data scientist is required,
- Provide technical expertise and functional/technical support to team members,
- Deep learning, machine learning or equivalent work experience,
- Computer vision experience preferred,
- Strong programming skills in Python,
- Experience with Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras or equivalent,
- Creative and innovative problem-solving skills,
- Good team player, results oriented attitude and analytical mind,
- Excellent analytical thinking/ problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
- Experience with deployment as REST-API and/or Docker containers,
Job Description
- Leads a team of data scientists on the application of machine learning and computer vision Technologies in production,
- Guide and lead team members,
- Researchs, designs, implements, and evaluates machine learning approaches and models,
- Provide technical expertise and functional/technical support to team members,
- Performs ad-hoc exploratory statistics and data mining tasks on diverse datasets from small scale to “big data”,
- Participates in data architecture and engineering decision-making to support analytics,
- Collaborates with business owners and IT leadership in gathering of business requirements and creating architectural designs,
- Transforms large amount of complex data into business insights and solutions by using latest technology in machine learning, pattern recognition,
- Conducts research on latest technologies and tools in analytics services and develops prototype for business use cases,
- Learns new business concepts and contexts rapidly,
- Works with business stakeholders to understand the opportunities and constraints of their existing data in the context of machine learning and predictive modeling,
- Applies analytical theory to real-world problems on large and dynamic datasets,
- Produces materials to feedback analytic results to customers (reports, presentations, visualizations),
- Evaluates and improves the analytical results on live system,
- Remain up-to-date on the new technologies, look for opportunities to learn & bring new ideas to the team,
- Measure, evaluate and improve team performance.
