Approximately 500K couples visit our websites every month. 1 out of every 3 couples who get married in 3 major cities of Turkey plan their wedding through our platforms.
We offer a marriage need list for those who are setting up a house through our application, ÇeyizListem, which is the most popular app in wedding & dowry industry in Turkey.
Yuvanıkur is the first marketplace targeting couples and offers a widespread goods and services to all needs of the couples.
We facilitate couples lives in every step of their wedding process with a team of 70.
The Profile:
- 3+ years of professional experience in database administration
- Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory
- Strong background in data warehousing and business intelligence
- Experience with MySQL and Postgresql
- Experience / knowledge with commercial ETL tools
- Basic understanding of disaster recovery and database backup procedures
- Familiarity with reporting tools, database design, documentation and coding
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- An insatiable curiosity and a craving for lifelong learning
- Understanding of information legislation, such as the Data Protection Act
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
The Job:
- Design, develop, and implement logic to extract data from applications into the Data Warehouse using MySQL, Postgresql and Elasticsearch
- Perform ETL from disparate systems into data marts and analytics models
- Building database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
- Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database
- Considering both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users
- Installing and testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS)
- Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
- Using high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
- Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses
- Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
- Monitoring database performance, implementing changes and applying new patches and versions
