QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related discipline, an advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years work experience in a similar position, ideally in large enterprise environments
- Profound knowledge and experience in frameworks and standards for Information Security, Risk, Compliance & IT Governance, such as COBIT, ISO2700X, and ITIL
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise, knowledge and understanding of relevant various national and international legal and regulatory requirements
- Related industry standard qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or ITIL are desired and would be a strong advantage
- Project management experience and knowledge of industry standard methodologies (e.g. PMI) would be an asset
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Solution oriented and analytical nature with the ability to solve complex technical issues
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a must
Job Description:
- Manage Information Security, compliance and risk functions and ensure that correct IT policies, procedures, standards and practices are in place for conformance with mandatory legislation, laws and regulations and in line with Daimler Truck AG policies
- Adopt, develop, enhance, and maintain IT Information Security policies, standards, processes and procedures across the Business
- Ensure that mandatory Information Security programs are in place and compliant with relevant laws, regulations and (internal) policies to minimize or eliminate related risks
- Develop and implement an information security awareness program to minimize non-compliance to policies
- Ensure the implementation of the Information Security Risk Analysis Process
- Ensure execution of Information Security assessments & audits (e.g Internal audits, ISO27001 etc.) and coordinate mitigation of related findings
