QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Engineering Leader for our R&D Team in our Gebze Technical Center who has the following qualifications;
QUALIFICATIONS
· Engineering degree on mechanical engineering, automotive or polymers
· Minimum 3 years of similar experience at automotive industry on project based activity,
· Minimum 3 years experience on part design (interior/exterior body trim or engine parts) for main OEMs ( Renault, Toyota, Ford, Tofaş,…)
· Project based working experience,
· Plastic raw material knowledge
· CATIA knowledge: GSD and part design modules
· Design and product/process improvement experience,
· Fluency in both written and spoken in English, French is a plus
· Be successful at team work, communication, self-motivation, problem solving, analytical thinking, planning and coordination,
· Have strong PC skill to use MS Office Programs,
· Preferably residing in (or nearby) Kocaeli or Istanbul Asia side,
· No military obligations for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Ensure the design of the products according to the schedule of consumers taking into account technical constraints relating to the product/process conditions,
· Prepare 3D and 2D data as well as BOM until product/process approval,
· Carry out the analysis of nonconformity according to the dimensional reports/ratios and tests together with tools technicians and quality responsibles,
· Carry out the management of the modification indices on the projects,
· Decide design of the parts by integrating the constraints relating to the product and the process (in relation to the methods tools/plastics/assembly),
· Decide possible modifications of design for the respect of the costumer standards/norms/needs (in agreement with the Project Leader),
· Decide values of final improvements on the product in collaboration with the tool technician and quality responsible,
· Decide diffusion of the plans or documents relating to the project,
· Decide / Propose necessary turnings on products
