GENEL NİTELİKLER
Job Description:
- Lead the development and delivery of full vehicle architecture from a blank page through production.
- Support analysis of benchmarking, customer happiness, and quality data of internal and competitive products to support target development
- Perform mechanical design, packaging of vehicle components, and concept development
- Lead team(s) in solving highly complex packaging problems
- Establish overall vehicle mechanical package targets
- Establish vehicle interior/occupant package targets
- Advice on homologation requirements for both ECE, FMVSS, and GB standards, etc.
- Lead execution of virtual builds in preparation for development bucks, physical prototypes builds, and pre-series production.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Support CAD studies for vehicle variants and platform studies
- Support BOM and Change Control processes, including weight management
- Use and promote best practices for Digital Mock Up (DMU) / CAD clean up
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science of Mechanical Engineering or similar required, Master’s preferred
- 3+ years of automotive industry experience
- Proven 3D CAD skills, proficient with CATIA V5/V6, SIEMENS NX, or similar software
- Knowledge of full automotive Interior, Exterior, Cabin, Chassis, and Underhood packaging preferred
- Knowledge of Ergonomics in the automotive design process
- Conversant with current and forthcoming vehicle architectures and system technologies
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools
- Proven problem solving and communication skills
- Motivation, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic – growing work environment with tight timing constraints.
- German Language skills a plus
- Ability to travel if necessary
