QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Turquoise Yachts is one of the leading mega yacht companies in Turkey. MBH, one of our major shareholders which is a multinational corporation with operations and subsidiaries, spreads across the globe with 82 companies in 22 different countries.
We are looking for a Design Engineer who will work under the guidance of Design Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferably in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in yacht sector
- Knowledge about all kinds of technical programs used for technical drawings
- Fluency in English
- Should be able to use AutoCAD, Rhino
- NUPAS-CADMATIC (For Piping Engineers who has ship and/or Yacht Building experience)
- MAXSURF for Naval Architects who will do stability calculations
Responsibilities
- To give information and to make suggestions about activities and problems under his/her responsibility, to find solutions for problems faced during implementations.
- To prepare all plans, production drawings, 3D models, part lists and other documents of projects.
- To make technical calculations requested by class, flag state and/or customer.
- To assist preparation of lists showing current revisions of controlled yacht design documents.
- To discuss and to collect information directly with relevant companies in preparation period of detailed drawings for equipment in coordination with Design Department.
