QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong Linux and Azure background, who will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Implement and own the CI,
- Manage CD tooling,
- Defining and deploying metrics, monitoring, and logging systems into the applications and infrastructure,
- Build and maintain highly available production systems,
- Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies. Lastly, you’ll help train and guide the team in DevOps practices,
- Creating and maintaining infrastructure using the Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) paradigm,
- Managing containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes,
- General cloud administration and diagnostics,
- Configure and manage work management environment (Azure Boards)
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies to support integration of Azure IaaS, PaaS and Container services in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Experience building integrations and applications against common REST base API’s, particularly infrastructure and core IT services like storage, cloud computing, virtualization, and networking.
- Fluency with automation tools and frameworks with demonstrated experience applying tools to improve efficiency (Ansible, Terraform).
- Linux system administration and automation in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience scripting in popular languages including Python, .Net, .Net Core
- Experience with DevOps practices, in particular automation and reusability as key enablers of project delivery and operations.
- Experience with configuration management practices and technologies and leveraging orchestration to ensure configuration consistency.
- Fluency with software development lifecycle management solutions, in particular Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Scrum, Agile, GIT and CI/CD tools, including integrating their use in common infrastructure management and deployment tasks.
- Ability to develop strategy, articulate vision and socialize concepts to realize automation benefits across IT infrastructure
- Technical knowledge of Kubernetes to design and implementations, dockerizing applications, deployment perspectives.
- Fluency with monitoring tools, Log analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana entegrations and management skills to related workloads.
