Role Summary
The Digital Services Manager is a virtual role that works in close partnership with the rest of the Client Partner Team to maximize the business value of investments by managing country operations and driving deployment and adoption of regional and global technology solutions and services. This position is responsible for supporting the business for the assigned markets including both Head Office and Field Force colleagues. The BSM works in a collaborative, creative and flexible way to manage change, plans and executes technology initiatives and small projects for the assigned markets. The BSM is vital to ensure client satisfaction for Pfizer Digital services and solutions and will manage operational activities and escalations.
Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and implements changes to local applications due to global initiatives; manages end to end Change Request process for applications supported by 3rd party
  • Accountable for troubleshooting and resolution of technical incidents after delivery; provides point of escalation between Business and service providers
  • Adapts global materials to meet local needs
  • Maintains constant communications with supporting Service Delivery Managers (SDM) to limit disruptions; informs SDMs on new applications, major updates, project-based requests, or upcoming bulk device upgrades and refreshes
  • Educate and coordinate training for the business about existing Digital capabilities and investments such as Digital Workplace, Zoom, or any other Pfizer solutions
  • Ensures systems and operations act in accordance with global and local policies and compliance rules - Market and applications audit support and continuous preparedness
  • Develops Disaster Recovery Plan and performs testing for specific applications
  • Understands client’s operational needs and how to make them reality through Pfizer Digital offerings and service providers
  • Consults/advises Business on remote working (e.g., equipment, accessories, COVID procedures, etc.) and coordinates for execution of meetings and major events (e.g., MS Teams, WebEx, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS in technical, business, or scientific disciple preferred

  • Extensive proven experience in large IT organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Issue resolution & Creative problem solving
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Ability to work within matrix organizations
  • Technical understanding of applications
  • IT Service Management qualifications e.g. ITIL (desired)
  • Language: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian or Turkish preferred
