QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Saint-Gobain Weber which was founded in 1927 operates in the industrial mortars sector in 64 countries. Weber is an expert on facade coatings, technical mortars, flooring systems and a leader in tile adhesives. Weber has solutions for construction surfaces in jobsites all around Turkey and solves all types of problems with the special products in its wide product range.

Weber is active in Turkey with 6 plants, 8 regional offices. With the developing technology and support of international know-how Weber develops products which are useful for the sector that fulfills the customer needs, improves the application quality, sensitive to environment and human health.


Qualifications

We are seeking a Digital Solutions Responsible who has the will and ambition to work in IT department of Weber Turkey’s Izmir Plant.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, MIS or a relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Information Technologies
  • Experience in ERP applications (Preferably SAP)
  • Experience in Asp.NET, .NET MVC, .NET Core , C#, (and preferably VB.NET )
  • Strong knowledge on RDBMS preferably MSSQL
  • DEVOPS experience is a plus
  • Experience on Phyton or R is desirable but not mandatory
  • Rapid learning ability and finding solutions quickly to the requirements asked for
  • Desire to advance in the technologies handled
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to engage with multi-national and multi-functional stakeholders, operate and deliver in a complex environment


Job Description

The suitable candidate will be responsible from and expected to be experienced in;

  • First level support, incident and enhancement request follow-up, maintenance for all business applications in Saint-Gobain Weber Turkey (SAP, B2B Portal, RPA, BPM, BI Tools)
  • Ensure that SAP is used efficiently by all employees in accordance with group standards, analyzing problems that may occur, deciding on who will solve the problem (himself/herself or global IT teams), transferring the solution to the users or following up on the solution.
  • Establish coordination with global IT teams (Saint-Gobain IDS) in projects that require the use or integration of SAP, putting the project in effect, preparing documents for the adaptation of users to the new project, and providing technical and training support to the users after the project is put into effect.
  • Ensure all reporting needs of Internal Customers are met through SAP / BI tools.
  • SAP administration via GRC (user sign up, removal, authorization reviews, performance management) procedures.
  • Ensure that B2B portal which indicates extranet operates in integration with SAP, following up on the data transfer from SAP to portal, portal to SAP, assigning user names and passwords for new distributors, monitoring and reporting the system use ratios of current distributors, carrying out needs analysis in accordance with demands from distributors/Sales Department and Customer Support Department, planning developments.
