We are looking for “Plating Supervisor” for our plant located at Torbalı.
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position or process
• Minimum 2 years of experience in team management
• Preferably experience with Zinc and/or Zinc-Nickel electroplating
• Fluent English knowledge is a must
• Advanced MS Office knowledge is a must
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player, systematic way of working and leadership skills
• Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for travelling
• In case of need, no obstacle for flexible working hours.
• No military service obligation for male candidates
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Responsibility of plating division of production
• Managing plating and dip/spin processes and also waste water treatment facility
• Ensuring coordination of the staffs in the department
• Reporting plating and dip/spin processes
• Ensuring production output in accordance with weekly shipment plan prepared by production planning
• Working on productivity, growth and cost decreasing projects within the department
• Reporting monthly KPIs to the Production Manager and planning and executing necessary actions to meet the targets
• Planning and organizing periodic maintenance of plating lines, dip/spin lines and all related auxiliary equipment in collaboration with maintenance department
• Inventory management about all kind of chemical and laboratory consumable materials, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager
• Applying Kaizen principles, 5S, etc. within the department
• Taking necessary actions suggested by environmental advisor of the company within the department
• Responsibility for implementations and improvements of all work safety rules and the disposal of hazardous waste
