QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Socotab Yaprak Tütün is one of the leading oriental leaf Tobacco merchants in the world, supplying quality, compliant oriental tobacco to the world’s top cigarette manufacturers and is looking for an ambitious and motivated candidate to join Operations team as Processing Shift Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- University graduate from Engineering Departments (preferably from Industrial Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering Departments)
- 3-5 years of job experience in Manufacturing environment
- Adaptability to work in shifts
- Very good command of verbal and written English
- Strong presentation and communication skills & prone to teamwork
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Knowledge in MS Office applications
- Knowledge and experience inKaizen studies, visual management, Gemba, 5S, time study, method study and other lean tools
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensuring the correct and complete implementation of occupational health & safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures,
- Reaching the challenging targets required by manufacturing processes and tools; achieving manufacturing, quality, cost, delivery and occupational health & safety targets,
- Generating sustainable solutions for losses by actively leading problem-solving processes,
- Taking active role in ensuring continuous development and sustainability,
- Material requirement planning and follow-up with related departments,
- Spreading the lean management methods to employees and teams such as 5S,
- Working according to the instructions and standards & giving trainings to the teams accordingly,
