QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Established in the Odemis district of Izmir in 1982, Euro Gıda is today one of the largest and most reliable companies in the sector. Euro Gıda, which has a product portfolio consisting of a wide variety of pickles, canned vegetables and gourmet sauces, carries out contract manufacturing for many major brands and chain markets in Turkey and Europe on its B2B channel. In addition, the product it produces, inspired by many sources ranging from traditional family recipes to modern international cuisines, especially Melis, takes its place on the shelves with its own brands in many parts of the world. To be assigned in the Technical department of our factory, which was built with the latest technology in Kemalpaşa and produces 100 million jars per year in a closed area of 55,000 m2; We are looking for a Process Improvement Leader.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; preferably Industrial Engineering
- Min 5 years of lean management experience
- Having experience on project management
- Having continuous improvement mindset
- Good communication skills
- Good verbal and written skills in English is preferred.
Job Description:
- Identifying and designing new processes with the perspective of efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction in operational and support processes
- Examine existing processes, identify areas for improvement, make cost reduction studies and take necessary actions by using project management methodology.
- Planning, tracking and reporting actions with other departments & leading the company to apply new standards
- Being responsible of all lean management studies on the shop floor
- Being the main contributor for the improvement projects to all the departments
- Keeping the main data of production, safety etc. in order to identify the needs
- Reporting the improvement points and the project steps regularly
- Spreading the lean management methods to employees and teams such as 5S, working according to the instructions and standards & gives trainings to the teams accordingly
