CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
AkzoNobel is searching for a “Continuous Improvement Manager” who will play an important role within the organization.
(The position is based in Gaziemir, İzmir)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferablyMechanical, Chemicalor Industrial), Master’s degree is preffered,
- 5+ years of relevant experience (Manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, engineering, continuous improvement etc),
- Strong experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, TPM, 6Sigma with minimum Green Belt Certification,
- Excellent communication & Leadership skills, confident and experienced in coaching,
- Solid project management and stakeholder management experience,
- Strong computer and presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Project, JMP / Minitab),
- Passionate about change and striving for exceptional performance,
- Knowledge on financial concepts, budgeting and P&L,
- Able to operate in a cross-cultural and complex matrix environment
Job Description
- Drives and manages improvement projects portfolio,
- Leads the ALPS (AkzoNobel Leading Performance System) deployment on site,
- Champions deployment of change management processes and tools to realize business strategic objectives,
- Coaches Advanced and Lead Practitioners, and local staff/MT on site and gives reinforcement trainings,
- Supports and challanges the workforce and Site MT in direction setting, prioritization and implementation of improvement program,
- Contributes to improving the real result key performance indicators
- Manages the improvement project funnel including prioritization, scoping, project assignment, resource planning, tracking of progress and benefits and controlling sustainability outcomes,
- Runs own improvement projects delivering value to the organization,
- Networks within the AkzoNobel CI community and share insights, problems and opportunities to promote improved performance
