QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Anatolia is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tiles and is a major supplier to some of the largest home centers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly.
Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 60,000-square meter Distribution Centre. With this facility, Anatolia has been supporting its North American Customers, and continues to expand to new markets in Europe, Asia, South America and Middle East. In addition to its Distribution Center, the construction of Anatolia’s 250.000-square meter ceramic manufacturing facility is in progress with operations commencing in 2022.
Anatolia is now searching for a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to join its expanding team in Aliaga, İzmir. With this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders. What you need is…
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; preferably Industrial Engineering,
- Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse automation systems,
- Knowledge and experience in warehouse system and warehouse operation,
- Knowledge and experience in SAP EWM / WM modules,
- Effective collaboration skills, showing flexibility to different perspectives,
- Good communication skills,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
As a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for;
- Identifying business requirements, analyze and document as-is process for warehouse automation systems, discover process gaps, Assisting in the design of SAP and 3rd party system integration processes in collaboration with business resources,
- Following the time planning of the warehouse automation projects planned in line with the business requirements, Also creating and following the time planning of the improvement projects planned to be carried out within the company,
- Collaborating closely with business end users and leaders to elaborate requirements and design which addresses specific business challenges,
- Giving support and solutioning for sub-project areas within specified module,
- Working closely with warehouse operation team, the SAP consultants and technical teams to ensure configuration or ABAP developments for warehouse automation system are executed in a timely manner and appropriate quality,
- Supervising operation team, SAP consultants and technical teams in order to ensure the planned activities are performed in expected time Conducting execution and implementation of the processes in SAP through testing and training.
