WHAT TO EXPECT

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of Control Plans and Measurement Inspection reports for New Product Introductions of Fluid Power Business.
  • Planning the execution of periodical measurements in accordance of quality metrics.
  • Manage and validate all materials and establish corrective actions for any nonconformance.
  • To collect and/or analyze data for continuous improvement activities and the reduction of rejects.
  • Responsible for developing; managing and overseeing all onsite operations related to quality inspection and containment activities.
  • Ease use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.
  • Coordinates plant quality initiatives within production unit.
  • Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on actual processes. Review and evaluate results. Proffer changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
  • Aid production engineering team for current production or new production introduction in terms of process control points, parameters, and related FMEA revisions.
  • Maintain Control Plans throughout the life of the part.
  • Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques and Measurement System Analysis tools.
  • Attend and perform quality audits to evaluate process conformance
  • Engage on customer claims to improve process related issues.
  • Liable of quality initiatives to improved quality performance of the production.


ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering,
  • Minimum 5 years experience in quality area in automotive industry or similar fast-paced manufacturing areawithin a machining environment
  • Proficient in gauge development, qualification, and GR&R studies
  • Must possess very good knowledge of GDT drawings, dimensioning and gauging/measuring practices
  • Knowledge in quality system IATF 16949
  • Must have knowledge of core tools (APQP-PPAP-SPC-MSA-FMEA), flow chart and control plan.
  • Very good knowledge in active usage of Problem Solving Methodologies (8D, 6 Sigma, Kaizen) for machining operations.
  • Strong information of inspection and containment
  • Ability to organize and facilitate cross-functional and intra-team meetings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management
  • English knowledge must be fluent.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Minitab
