RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports multiple process improvement activities on a divisional level; i.e. Lean Manufacturing Initiatives, Kaizen projects, through coordination of Manufacturing, Plant Engineering, Process/Equipment Engineering, Product Engineering, Production Planning, Logistics and Quality resources, as well as appropriate outside suppliers.
  • Acts as resource to Manufacturing, Product Development, and Process/Equipment Development groups to provide project management support.
  • Support studies for reducing waste and variation in identified key business processes.
  • Accountable to produce measurable improvement results on projects.
  • Supports to formulate and implements improvement plans and organizes project staff according to requirements.
  • Supports CI Coordinator to manage all phases of a project such as improvement identification, requirements, research, design, prototyping, planning, testing and measurement.
  • Prepares interim and completion reports to document progress and achievement. To assist CI coordinator for reporting all improvement projects in Winner Circle's system and takes approval from finance coordinator, to support team saving calculation.
  • Main responsible is to assist CI coordinator for initiating and standardizing 5S, Visual Factory, TPM, Standard Work, SMED and Kanban systems and projects.
  • Manages all phases of employee suggestion system, such as idea recording, share responsible person, following implementation and prepare recognition list. Manages 5S and HSE audit system with HSE specialist, organize audit plan, reporting result and follow up open items.
  • Posted all KOI and POR presentation in Plant and also prepare KOI presentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industrial/manufacturing engineer or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the automotive industry.
  • Basic Lean manufacturing principles knowledge mandatory. Manufacturing internship optional.
  • Analytical thinking approach and result oriented.
  • Serves as technical resource to other team members, assisting with data analyze and problem solving.
  • Works with team and help for problem solving.
  • Integrates facts, knowledge and communication skills to influence decisions of the work group.
  • Must have the people skills required to unify the teams' focus to accomplish diverse projects.
  • Must have strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good written and oral communications skills. Fluent in English.
