QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with quality, production & engineering teams and demonstrate accountability for the Quality objectives
- Work closely with Quality system and manufacturing team to study, analyze, take corrective and preventive actions on quality indicators
- Ensure that the products meet quality requirements
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to discuss and resolve product quality issues
- Participate in product quality planning and control process based on customer’s specifications and requirements
- Ensure identifying and developing problem solving methodologies to resolve quality issues
- Assist in new product development activities to avoid quality issues.
- Work with Quality teams to improve quality management system based on audit results
- Address customer issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Hands on experience of using Problem solving tools such as 8D, Minimize defects
- Initiate the continual improvement through quality audit programs, through the assessment / screening of various sources of non-conformances and by driving the implementation or corrective actions identified through Root Cause Analysis for In-process improvements
- Lead day to day quality operations in close conjunction with production & other teams
- Product Quality support for manufacturing
- Defective part investigation (measurement, testing, containment)
- Implementation of improvements (instructions, process changes, design changes)
- Sustainment of improvements (control plans, Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from Engineering departments
- Min. 5 years of experience in Production / Manufacturing Quality process preferably in automotive, aerospace or aviation industries
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001standards
- Knowledge of statistical process analysis, Minitab user
- Knowledge of Basic Lean and Six Sigma Methodology
- Highest Levels of Personal Integrity and Safety Mindset
- Team-oriented and responsive to customer needs
- Strong oral and written skills in English
