QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
YANMAR is one of the world’s leading manufacturers in the field of Diesel Engine, Agriculture Machinery, Construction Equipment’s, Energy Systems and Marine Businesses. Currently YANMAR TURKEY MAKİNE A.Ş. is looking for an experienced team member to apply for the position of Supplier Quality Development Engineer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from related engineering department, especially in Mechanical, Metallurgy or Automotive Engineering,
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality area in automotive industry or similar fast-paced manufacturing area,
- Knowledge of the product development process as well as technical manufacturing processes and cost calculation,
- Knowledge in quality system IATF 16949 and ISO 9001,
- Fluent in English - both verbal and written,
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills,
- No restriction for travel in and out of Turkey,
- Willing to live in İzmir.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Knowledge and experience in quality system structure (IATF 16949, ISO 9001 ),
- Plans, organizes, evaluates, and reports supplier development activities in accordance with the quality standards and project requirements and PPAP processes,
- Experienced in quality system audits,
- Measuring comparison and counter measurement within the scope of initial sampling,
- Visits suppliers regularly to assess supplier's performance,
- Supplier Quality Management tasks for series purchased components, responsibility especially for Assigned Part Families,
- Fast and efficient problem solving in Management of Complaint Process (8D to Suppliers) and guiding supplier task forces and escalation management.
