WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in Free Trade Zone , İzmir you will be Customer Claim And Warranty Handling Engineer.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:
- Lead the 0-km customer claims and being the first contact of customer in all terms.
- Lead the 8D process from start to completion.
- Initiating containment and sorting activities both at customer locations and Gates plants by getting third-party quotations
- Preparation of Quality Alerts and managing the distribution and trainings.
- Organizing 8D meetings with related parties in order to define and agree on root cause analysis.
- Tracking the completion of corrective actions.
- Concluding the claim process by submitting and presenting the 8D report to the customer.
- Weekly tracking of customer portals for 0-km and warranty returns.
- Organizing and ensuring on time receival of return parts.
- Planning and executing analysis of returned parts and ensuring on-time submission on customer portal.
- Preparation and reporting of Monthly Quality KPI's such as Incident Rate, ppm, COPQ etc.
- Attend and perform quality audits to evaluate process conformance.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering,
- Minimum 8 years experience in quality area in automotive industry or similar fast-paced manufacturing area.
- Demonstrated expertise in 8D process and customer communications.
- Strong information of inspection and containment
- Ability to organize and facilitate cross-functional and intra-team meetings.
- Knowledge in quality system IATF 16949
- Must have knowledge of core tools (APQP-PPAP-SPC-MSA-FMEA), flow chart and control plan.
- Must possess sound knowledge of GDT drawings, dimensioning and gauging/measuring practices,
- Knowledge in active usage of Problem Solving Methodologies (6 Sigma, Kaizen)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management
- Advanced English is a must. Good level of German is highly desirable
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Minitab
