We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer for one of our leading plants AMCOR SPECIALTY CARTONS, IZMIR
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree from engineering departments of relevant disciplines
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Self driven and result oriented
- Knowledge of application in core Quality Engineering tools / principles
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Min. 1 year experience in similar role
- No restriction to travel - domestic / abroad
- Active driver (B class)
- No military obligation for male candidates
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for developing; managing and overseeing all on field operations related to qualityinspection
- Validate all materials and establish corrective actions for any non-conformance
- Gather and/or analyze data for continuous improvement activities and the reduction of rejects
- Facilitate use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action implementation
- Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes
- Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness
- Support production engineering team for current production or new production introduction in terms of process control points, parameters
- Provide onsite/offsite support for the customer's possible technical problems
- Participate and perform quality audits to evaluate process conformance
- Responsible for quality initiatives to improved quality performance of the production
- Coordinate plant quality initiatives within production unit
- Assist QA Technicians / QA Shift Leaders when needed
