Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develops a conference, meetings, social events and banquet action plan that includes strategies to meet or expand goals and objectives in line with the marketing plan.
• Responsible for the execution of all group operations and the preparation of BEO and Group Resume for each group.
• Implements measurable results, prepares appropriate strategies, and measures the performance of Sales Managers in line with the defined goals and objectives.
• Ensures that all current and future guests accounts are serviced in accordance with LQEs.
• Ensures that all sales employees to keep up-to-date records of their Infor / Delphi account profiles.
• Ensures that all sales employees submit sales activity reports within the specified time frame.
• Reviews all banquet, wedding, bids and contracts and adjusts as needed, to the changing market conditions.
• Defines sales regions and customer accounts to group sales employees.
• Communicates directly with Banquet Operations Manager for all relevant banquet functions.
• Controls department expenditures in line with budget targets.
• Ensures banquet event orders are correct and provides all the information to relevant departments.
• Develops, implements and manages revenue management strategies in all aspects of the event.
• Develops and implements the annual employee training program and ensures that all employees participate in the LQE training program.
• Be aware of current market trends and provide information regarding the competitors' activities to all relevant employees.
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry; International experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of English and Turkish.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate their team.
• Extroverted and enthusiastic personality.
• High degree of endurance, agility and flexibility.
