University graduate, preferably from engineering departments, Environmental Engineering is desired,
At least 2 years’ experience in waste management. Chemical or related industry experience (desired).
Knowledge of environmental report system and UATF
Basic knowledge of ADR directive and management
Knowledge of MOTAT report and tracking system
Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
Minimum C or B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security
Strong working knowlege of environmental laws and regulations related to manufacturing operations.
Good negotiation skills to work with all apsects, government agencies and team members
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English,
Experience in use of Microsoft and other computer systems.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Responsible for managing waste streams at by product area (for both non-hazardous and hazardous)
Prepare daily and monthly basis report for each waste streams
Managing and organizing the daily routine of by product area
Responsible for the safe operation of drivers and transportation of waste
Prepare for and facilitate internal/external audits, evaluate /challenge audit findings and develop/document action plans.
Prepare and coordinate periodic reports required for permits and meeting regulatory requirements.
Partner with other functions and lead efforts to continuously
Partner with related functions to develop strategies and actions to improve Environmental performance
Evaluate aspects, impacts opportunities, risks, and legal requirements in order to coordinate actions/projects to support the plant be compliant with legal requirements, with the operating permit and environmental protection
Improve plant waste management and Environmental culture.
Auditing site, identifying corrective actions, developing and closing the corrective actions
Manage, coach and develop a team of 8-12 direct reports
