QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
- University graduate, preferably from engineering departments, Environmental Engineering is desired,
- At least 2 years’ experience in waste management. Chemical or related industry experience (desired).
- Knowledge of environmental report system and UATF
- Basic knowledge of ADR directive and management
- Knowledge of MOTAT report and tracking system
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Minimum C or B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security
- Strong working knowlege of environmental laws and regulations related to manufacturing operations.
- Good negotiation skills to work with all apsects, government agencies and team members
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English,
- Experience in use of Microsoft and other computer systems.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Responsible for managing waste streams at by product area (for both non-hazardous and hazardous)
- Prepare daily and monthly basis report for each waste streams
- Managing and organizing the daily routine of by product area
- Responsible for the safe operation of drivers and transportation of waste
- Prepare for and facilitate internal/external audits, evaluate /challenge audit findings and develop/document action plans.
- Prepare and coordinate periodic reports required for permits and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Partner with other functions and lead efforts to continuously
- Partner with related functions to develop strategies and actions to improve Environmental performance
- Evaluate aspects, impacts opportunities, risks, and legal requirements in order to coordinate actions/projects to support the plant be compliant with legal requirements, with the operating permit and environmental protection
- Improve plant waste management and Environmental culture.
- Auditing site, identifying corrective actions, developing and closing the corrective actions
- Manage, coach and develop a team of 8-12 direct reports
