QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University graduate, preferably from engineering departments, Mechanical desired.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in occupational safety management. Chemical or related industry experience (desired).
  • Minimum B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
  • Strong working knowlege of occupational healthy & safety laws and regulations related to manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of SEVESO Directive
  • Knowledge of occupational safety report system
  • Basic knowledge of ADR directive and management
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Healthy & Safety Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
  • Good negotiation skills to work with all apsects, government agencies and team members
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English,
  • Experience in use of Microsoft and other computer systems.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Managing and organizing the daily routine of by product area
  • Prepare for and facilitate internal/external audits, evaluate /challenge audit findings and develop/document action plans.
  • Prepare and coordinate periodic reports required for permits and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with other functions and lead efforts to continuously
  • Partner with related functions to develop strategies and actions to improve Safety and environmental performance
  • Evaluate aspects, impacts opportunities, risks, and legal requirements in order to coordinate actions/projects to support the plant be compliant with legal requirements, with the operating permit and environmental protection
  • Improve plant safety management and safety culture.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of drivers
  • Auditing site, identifying corrective actions, developing and closing the corrective actions
  • Good Manage, coach and develop a team of 8-12 direct reports
  • Providing legal training annually
  • Responsible for follow up / keep/ refresh legal document
  • Prepare and refresh risk assessment document
