Electric Vehicle Charger Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Electric mobility is becoming a reality, electric vehicles expected to be nearly 30% of new vehicle sales by 2025 and more than 50% by 2040. The development of electric vehicle charging technology and the widespread availability of chargers are as essential as the vehicles themselves. As Vestel, we are at the center of this revolution. You will be responsible for

  • Design the software architecture and firmware implementation on hardware.
  • Participating in the team’s life, lead junior engineers and contribute to decision-making,
  • Good knowledge of charging station standards, following new updates and implementing requirements.
  • Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging and code optimization.

· Follow-up of improvement requests from customers and take the necessary actions.

Qualifications;

· Bachelor's Degree in BS, MS or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent/related field,

· 5+ years of full-time experience as embedded software engineer,

· Excellent command of written and verbal English,

· Strong C language skills,

· Python, C++ will be an asset,

· Open to communication,

· Developed software for microcontrollers,

· Being familiar to source control systems(SVN, GIT),

· Being familiar to communication protocols like modbus, UART, CAN,

· Analytical and problem-solving skills,

· Not to be afraid of getting his/her hands dirty with a platform or technology that he/she doesn’t know, and is always eager to learn something new,

· No travel restriction,
