QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- BS or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics,Electronics, Mechatronics & Control Engineering,
- Ability to understand and resolve problems at both system and code level,
- Experience in embedded coding on Matlab Simulink Environment,
- Experience in development projects for hybrid and electric vehicles,
- A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline, multi-project environment,
- Knowledge about at least two of the following topics:
- Rapid controller prototyping embedded systems like dSPACE, Pi Innovo, Motohawk, etc.
- E-drive control and power electronics,
- Hybrid electric vehicle requirements development,
- Automotive electronics,
- Communication buses such as CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet etc.,
- ISO26262 – Functional Safety
- Self-motivation
- Good communication skills,
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English,
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomous,
- Flexible for short trips abroad.
- Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Analysis and definition of technical specifications for hybrid electric powertrain systems and components,
- Algorithm and function development for electrified powertrain control systems,
- Application software development, implementation, testing and validation activities,
- Dynamics modeling, test case development, MIL/PIL/HIL simulations and bug fixing,
- Requirements management at a system and/or component level,
- Automotive OBD system development,
- Integration of hardware, algorithms and release of calibrations to meet requirements,
- Vehicle integration and test activities.
