QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
TTTech Auto Turkey is looking for talented Experienced Embedded Software Engineer (mid to senior level) to grow its team for In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) projects.
In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI)
IVI is the main screen in an automobile for information and entertainment purposes and the projects are mainly based on Linux and Android platforms. IVI systems are not only used for audio and video entertainment, but they also provide information and applications like navigation, USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Besides convenience, these applications improve road safety and provide interface to several in car systems such as parking assistance and other systems. We carry out IVI projects from system level up to application development on several automotive platforms
Your Tasks
- The engineers will be developing, maintaining and integrating embedded software for automotive platforms and products.
- IVI (In Vehicle Infotainment) platforms (Qualcomm, TI, NXP, etc.) and customized boards will be used throughout the development.
- Projects will be targeting very well-known international automotive companies and project teams will be cooperating with international teams.
- Several travels are to be expected for workshops and trainings abroad.
Qualifications
- The candidates should have good technical degree in computer science or electronics engineering and proven experience.
- 3-5 years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior level) of experience in embedded software development and understanding of Linux systems and related development environments is expected.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and good understanding of embedded Linux system is a must.
- Understanding of software life cycle processes and tools. (Example: V-Cycle, Agile, Polarion, Jira, Software versioning and maintenance using Git/Gerrit)
- Knowledge of Android systems, boot-loader and board bring-up experience will be a great plus.
- Knowledge of Android AIDL, HIDL, HAL interfaces and Android build system will be a great plus
- Understanding Linux drivers and kernel device-tree knowledge will be a great plus.
- Candidates are expected to have fluent English, both written and spoken to work with international teams and customers.
