QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
How do we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Energy Engineering, (A master degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience in the fields of energy/resource efficiency
- Having experience in energy efficiency in production processes,
- Experience in energy audits in the industry sector is strongly preferred,
- Experience in Energy Management System Standard Certification (ISO 50001:2018), preferably internal auditor,
- Experience in renewable energy, especially in solar,
- Having knowledge of the legislation on energy efficiency and unlicensed electricity generation,
- Having knowledge of carbon markets and carbon pricing mechanisms,
- Having experience in data analytics,
- Having Energy Manager certification is a plus,
- Having experience in project management,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
- A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,

What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Engineer - Production Energy Efficiency who will join our team at the Quality, Sustainability, and Corporate Affairs Directorate.
- Determination of short, medium, and long-term energy and sustainability targets,
- Follow-up of new technologies for energy efficiency and renewable energy,
- Follow-up of incentive mechanisms and energy-related legislation,
- Carrying out the application process for energy efficiency incentive programs such as Horizon Europe, VAP, Voluntary Agreements (Gönüllü Anlaşmalar) with local teams,
- Conduct on-site energy efficiency audits,
- Develop energy efficiency audit reports where technical and financial feasibilities of identified opportunities are assessed,
- To lead the ISO 50001 certification and surveillance audits of domestic and international factories,
- Planning/realization of awareness training for ISO 50001:2018 EnMS and Energy Efficiency,
- Representing Arçelik in meetings with NGOs and Public Institutions,
- Take part as a leader/member in energy efficiency projects and renewable energy investments
- Monitoring and reporting of Energy Efficiency KPIs,
- Providing support for Sustainability, CDP, and Sustainability Indices Reports,
- Preparing and analyzing energy efficiency and renewable energy periodic reports,
- Reviewing energy efficiency activity lists with related stakeholders periodically.
The position is located in Çayırova.
