We are looking for an “Environmental Engineer” to work with Environmental and Sustainability Department at Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Project, Yenişehir-Osmaneli Section.
Job Description
- Following and supporting preparation of periodic E&S reports, audits, monitoring activities and giving necessary trainings with the audits,
- Ensuring compliance to related Turkish regulations, project ESIA commitments, ESAP requirements and supporting to E&S Manager,
- Following project policies/procedures requirements and to ensure the implementation in line with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System ,
- Carrying out regular site inspections and participate internal audits to monitor conformity of all compliance requirements,
- Follow up of regulatory permits and license activities and support in ensuring full compliance with, Turkish Environmental Law and applicable regulations,
- Supporting the review process of all work instructions, project method statements applied in operations in terms of environmental management,
- Monitoring and reporting GHG.
Requirements
- Good knowledge on IFC/Equator Principles and Turkish Environmental Law,
- Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering,
- Minimum 5 years site experience in a company/project that utilized international finance,
- Fluent English in both spoken and written,
- Environmenal Officer Certificate is required,
- Having valid drivers’s licence and actively driving,Good command of MS Office Applications.
