We are looking for an “Environmental Engineer” to take part in Şişecam Group Environmantal Directorate located in Tuzla / İstanbul;
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree awarded in Environmental Engineering
- Must have Environmental Officer Certificate
- 2+ years of experience in similar work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Environmental Impact Assesment, Waste & Wastewater & Emission Management knowledge and competency
- Expert in ISO 14001 EMS (Environmental Management System)
- Very good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Continuous learning and improvement approach
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software
- No restrictions for domestic and international travels
- For male candidates Military service must be completed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Apply knowledge and understanding of environmental legislation both Turkish and International standards/regulations, ensuring compliance
- Preparation of environment related reports, procedures and other documents related to Şişecam’s environmental strategy
- Conducting internal and external environmental audits
- Implementing Environment plans/programs and monitoring Environment KPIs as monthly, quarterly and annually in order to sustain good Envıronmental system
- Monitoring of environmental permit processes and prepation and following-up of Environmental Impact Assessment and Project Introduction File, making the communication with plants
- Maintaining and developing of related ISO 14001 activities
- Controlling the compliance of the sanitary landfills with legal requirements
- Preparation of environmental emergency plans
- Knowledge of waste management and carrying out project studies in waste recycling processes
