QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for 'Environmental Engineer' for our client ESCARUS which provides tailor-made consultancy services on strategic and operational sustainability for its clients in the perspective of sustainable development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute consultancy projects
- Develop and deliver training sessions on environmental risk management
- Liaise with customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare business proposals/presentations
- Will be responsible for the local and global projects in İstanbul or Ankara.
Expertise Required:
- University degree in environmental engineering or related disciplines is a must.
- Master's degree is an asset.
- Having previous experience in developing or implementing environmental action plans or similar type of requirements by international financial institutions (IFIs) is a must.
- Preferably 5+ years of previous professional experience in any of the below areas:
a-Environmental due diligence according to national & international legislation and Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, World Bank Guidelines, or similar
b-Environmental impact assessment of studies
c-Environmental management of public or privately-owned companies
- Previous experience in consultancy is an asset.
- Previous institutional capacity building activities in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) field is an asset.
- Site/field experience covering different sectors is an asset.
- Practical knowledge and experience of working with IFIs in social as well as health and safety requirements in addition to environmental requirements, and experience of assistance in their successful implementation, reporting and monitoring is an asset.

- Excellent command of English both written and spoken (Working Languages: English, Turkish)
