QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business,
- An MBA, MSc or financial certification (CFA, SPK etc.) is an asset,
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in dealing with investors, strong track record of creating relationships with equity research or investment banking community,
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as Turkish, is a must,
- Vast knowledge of financial analysis, financial modeling reporting requirements,
- In-depth understanding of the financial markets, macroeconomics, capital markets, preferably with prior experience in TMT sector,
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets Board of Turkey regulations, disclosure practices and filing requirements,
- A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines,
- Strong written and verbal expression in drafting investor community messages,
- Advance knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint (strong data visualization capability for presentations),
- Strong analytical & numerical skills and ability to get into details, strong attention to accuracy,
- Ability to multi-task and work with cross functional teams.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing relationships with the investment community; articulating Turkcell’s equity story & strategy,
- Responding to investor and analyst inquiries in a timely and accurate manner,
- Analyzing financial and operational results of Turkcell thoroughly and monitor share movements,
- Producing call materials for quarterly earnings releases, conferences, roadshows or investor days,
- Managing relations with credit rating agencies and supporting the rating process,
- Preparing public fillings (Material Event Disclosures, 20-F annual report),
- Preparing presentations for board meetings,
- Monitoring compliance with the existing laws and regulations under the framework of corporate governance principles,
- Monitoring IR section of the Turkcell corporate website.
