Qualifications:

  • University degree or business administration college or commercial education
  • Experience in purchasing and knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry would be an advantage
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, also in an international environment

Job Description:

  • Support of operational purchasing in Germany / Europe with administrative tasks
  • Support of buyers in the creation or modification of a commercial-agreement/-contract or order`s
  • Ensuring timely processing and approval of contracts and orders
  • Evaluation and preparation of analyzes
  • Assistance to buyers in the preparation of the annual negotiations
  • Development of the material group and supplier strategy
  • Analysis of the procurement market, evaluation of suppliers
  • Optimizing / implementing the supplier structure
  • Independent processing of incoming tasks for business transactions within global purchasing
  • Participation in the optimization of existing processes and procedures
  • Support of project work in new and ongoing projects
