We are looking for a new colleague who could help thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Turkey to strengthen its footprint in Turkey as well as in the MEA Region.

Job profile/ responsibilities

As Export/Import Operation Specialist you will be responsible for planning import/export logistics and customs activities in order to ensure timely delivery of material and products and sustainability in accordance with guidelines and all in compliance with local as well as group regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

· Implementation of import/export opportunities in the areas of logistics by following developments for the objective of the company,

· Ensuring the timely flow of information to production planning teams about shipments, customs operations,

· Managing all export duties such as taking orders, making shipments and preparing documents,

· Ensure compliance with all import and export regulations,

· Support supply planning activities for direct procurement,

· Preparing all operational documents related to import and export in accordance with the rules of the relevant country,

· Monitoring, analyzing, and publishing performance metrics of suppliers and forwarders,

· Providing new methods for cost reductions,

· Participating in projects and procedures to reduce transportation costs and improve overseas on-time delivery performance,

· To be responsible for the offer and sales of spare parts for the Middle East and Turkish markets

· Coordinating and supervising inquiries from customers and/or internal/external sources.

· Coordinating all projects with related departments and managing the fulfillment of all tasks within the given timeline

· Managing the whole contract negotiations with the suppliers and coordinating the supplier, corporate law and related technical units to complete purchasing process,

· Performing the control of payments to suppliers at the right time and working coordinately with the Finance and Accounting Department,

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree from Engineering, Foreign Trade and Logistics departments of related universities

· Minimum 3 years of experience in maritime transportation

· Proficient use of MS Office (especially with Excel)

· Ability to strategize, prioritize and solve problems

· Strong commitment to goals and proactive attitude

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· Profound proficiency in English
