QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Knowledge, Skill

  • Bachelor’s degree in the departments of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent technical schools
  • At least 3 years of commercial/sales experience in a similar B2B environment
  • At least 3 years experience of business development in OEM industry
  • Appropriate knowledge of industrial automation, electrical/control solutions associated with motion controllers, servo drives, HMI, AC Drives and other product groups
  • Appropriate technical understanding about industrial automation products
  • Creativity in business approach
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Preferably having fluent English skills
  • Having driving licence and no travel restrictions in Turkey and abroad

Job profile

  • Proactively acquires new customers and develops new business
  • Build and maintain customer relationships within the assigned region or Product Market combination in line with the Omron sales plans and policies.
  • Responsible for the whole sales process from investigation, proposing, quoting and closing
  • Closely aligns with marketing to create attention for Omron Solutions
  • Build a plan to influence customers and its customers towards Omron's vision, strategy, solutions, and innovations.
  • Make sure to build a trust relationship by investing in the prospects and impressing and meeting expectations
  • Translate customer needs in Omron solutions based on extensive knowledge of the Omron product/service portfolio
  • Determine the needs of the assigned prospects
  • Implement product positioning strategy and pricing policies and negotiate the annual sales agreements with customers
  • Provide input and share knowledge with colleagues about market information
  • Ensure continuous improvement of knowledge of technical products, solutions and applications
  • Provide input on prospects, market and Industries in sales meetings
  • Ensure proper reporting and registration of customer information for the assigned region or market (Istanbul Europe)
  • Manage the agenda
  • Direct report to Area Sales Manager for assigned region or market
