QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Bitlo, one of Turkey's oldest and most reliable cryptocurrency exchanges, was founded in 2017 by Mustafa Alpay and Hakan Baş. Setting out with the mission of "to provide an easy-to-use, transparent, reliable, fast, constantly developing, competitive and sustainable platform where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be exchanged" Bitlo provides its users to buy and sell more than 50 cryptocurrencies with Turkish lira, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP). Bitlo also funds promising cryptocurrency and blockchain projects in order to lead the sector’s growth.
Growing day by day, Bitlo aims to strengthen its position among the cryptocurrency exchanges by taking firm and sustainable steps.
Requirements
- Experience in financial audit (big 4), corporate finance, transaction services min 7 years
- Good understanding of corporate finance principles
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop recommendations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Modeling experience a plus
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong drive for results
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English
- Appreciation and understanding of teamwork
Responsibilities
- Establish reporting, budgeting procedures
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Build and maintain bottom-up budgets and P&Ls
- Establish KPIs and other operating metrics to evaluate business performance
- Maintain and update monthly forecast, budget, and operating models
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for senior management
- Develop ad hoc financial analyses and business cases for key initiatives
- Analyzing and communicating business results to key stakeholders periodically for guiding future financial strategies
