QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Ayhan Sezer Oil and Food Ind. Trading Ltd. was established by Ayhan Sezer upon his experiences to carry on business in the fields of trade and industry in 1997. The company adopts providing safe, healthy, quality, and economical products as a principle-based on its pacesetter stance, innovator understanding, and being a model firm in the field of the crude vegetable oil industry.

We are looking for a Foreign Trade Operations Specialist (English, Turkish, and preferably Russian speaking) for our Head Office located in Akmerkez/Etiler, İstanbul - Turkey.

Key Accountabilities

In the role, you will be responsible for:

  • Translating commercial, legal, economical texts, and documents from English to Turkish - Turkish to English, additionally from Russian to Turkish – Turkish to Russian
  • Ensuring that the materials and raw materials needed by the company are provided with appropriate conditions and on time
  • Performing import and export transactions by the specifications and instructions
  • Ensuring safety is prioritized in all operations by Ayhan Sezer Yağ ve Gıda and contractors
  • Reviewing and preparing contracts
  • Execution of import and export operations and follow-up the process via customs brokers, agents, and surveillance companies
  • Organizing the loading/discharge operations and documentation for the imported/exported goods
  • Controlling and reporting the cost of the import and export operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a similar role
  • The native Turkish language is a must!
  • An advanced level of English is a must!
  • Excellent command of Russian is preferable!
  • Advanced knowledge of FOSFA & GAFTA terms is a must!
  • A strong negotiation skill with the service providers/suppliers is a must!
  • Very good command of (L/C) Letter of Credit knowledge is required!
  • Knowledge of Customs & Agriculture Regulation is required!
  • Problem-solving capacities and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs
