QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
For our growing organization in Grain market, we are looking for a Trade Operation Specialist to join our team located in İstanbul with below specifications;
Job Description
Execution and follow up entire process of shipments and related operations for import, export and transit trade,
Issue shipment documents, invoices, and handle customs clearance tasks related to exports and imports,
Maintain relationships with local and global suppliers, forwarders, customs brokers, insurance and inspection companies,
Prepare regular management reports including budgets and account statements, purchase and sales statistics for ongoing trade activities,
Monitoring developments in the key markets, industries and companies,
Producing periodic reports and bulletins for commodities and equities market,
Synthesizing competitive intelligence and trends in the commodities markets into industry reports.
Professional Skills & Experience
Bachelor Degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Econometrics, Statistics , Mathematics or Mathematics Engineering,
Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Turkish and English. Russian is a plus,
At least 5 years of experience in international trade, import / export operations. Experience in grain market is a plus,
Demonstrable interest in trade execution at local/global markets; any kind of experience on Commodity markets, agricultural products trade or grain trade field will be an asset,
Strong knowledge of documenatation , international trade practices, payment and delivery terms, and other documentation,
Strong analytical and quantitative skills,
Capable of working in a demanding deadline driven and flexible working hours, ability to produce quality work with an attention to details,
General understanding of sales and marketing practices,
Developing and maintaining industry databases and Monitoring developments in the key markets, industries and companies.
Competitive, assertive, challenger and able to deliver reliable output under pressure.
Good knowledge of MS Office programs,
Advanced planning and reporting skills,
Good communication and negotiation skills,
No restrictions to travel,
No military obligation for male candidates.
