QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Kale Arge is looking for Thermal Analysis (TA) Engineers who will be trained on solving complex thermal problems related to gas turbines and other complex machinery. The TA Engineerwill be responsible for performing the thermal analysis of various gas turbine engine components. Analysis include closed-form analytical methods as well as computational methods. The TA Engineer will work in a creative environment which is conducive to teamwork and strong professional development. Successful candidates for our positions will be able to work on a variety of projects using a variety of software.
Responsibilities and duties for this position include:
- Performing thermal heat transfer and secondary flow analyses
- Identifying root causes of problems and finding innovative solutions
Requirements for this position:
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Aeronautical, Astronautical or Mechanical Engineering related degree
- Knowledge in Thermal Fluid Science or Heat Transfer Fluid Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics Working Experience in Heat Transfer, 1D flow and thermal analysis, CFD
- Experience in gas turbine engineering or a similar technical field
- Knowledge of analysis software, such as ANSYS, ANSYS Fluent, P-Thermal, SCO3, Flowmaster, Flow Simulator
- Knowledge about Open-source CFD solvers.
- Fluent in English
