QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
OUR COMPANY: Nordic Hamburg Group is an international ship management company that has been on the market for over 15 years with its core business in the management of vessels' commercial activities. Our company has offices located in Hamburg, Odessa, and Singapore and recently has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey located in the Maltepe district with the goal of strengthening positions in the Turkish market. In this connection, our company is looking for motivated professionals to be hired for the position of Recruitment Officer.
Requirements:
- effective communication skills both in oral and written English – level B1;
- ability to work with different computer programs (Excel, Outlook);
- you should be a quick learner and a good team player;
- experience in shipping or crewing is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that actual vacancies are posted and distributed timely among on external sources for proper candidate selection.
- Ensure recruitment processes are followed and that they are concluded in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure a good understanding of individual seafarers’ technical abilities and special skills is achieved where such abilities and skills may be required.
- Ensure good coordination with crewing department for identifying, proposing and confirming candidates as required by company policy.
- Maintain database of new seafarers and ensure it is updated in accordance with date of seafarers’ readiness, requested wage and requirements.
