We seek for young, ambitious “GENERAL ACCOUNTING SENIOR FİNANCE SPECIALIST” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Istanbul with below qualifications;
Your background
- University degree in related areas.
- Knowledge of Turkish Tax, Turkish Accounting Standard, and IFRS.
- 6 years of accounting and/or tax experience in a multinational company.
- 2-3 years of audit background will be preferable.
- Good knowledge in SAP FI module and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
- Able to communicate effectively, having analytical thinking, result-oriented.
- Completed military service for male applicants.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting overall financial statement preparation by executing accurate and timely completion of accounting activities in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
- Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve unusual issues. Supplies limited advice on accounting matters based on well-established principles and practices.
- Ensuring the production of reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statement of sourcing, and application of funds.
- Assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures, and continuously optimizes to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains.
- Conducting investigations and reconciliations of account as necessary.
- Applying accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
- Participating in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.
- Controlling &supporting day to day accounting activities in accordance with the chart of (Local GAAP & IFRS).
- Collaborating with Hub based in Krakow on shared or divided scope of responsibilities
- Responsible for Transactional taxes and giving strong support to General Tax Management.
- Managing VAT receivable collection processes with the necessity excel files & documentation.
