QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

HR Partner Job Description:

We are looking to employ an HR partner with good communication skills, both written and verbal. The HR partner is expected to be knowledgeable with employment legislation to the labor process. The HR partner should display excellent organizational skills, communication skills, good time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The HR partner is expected to have conflict management and coordination skills to ensure employee compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Arranging new employees orientation and existing employees trainings.
  • Monitoring employee performance, attendance, leave and travel records.
  • Handling compensation & commission administration.
  • Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll, tax, and benefits administration.
  • Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
  • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
  • Implementing systematic staff development procedures and programs.
  • Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in HR systems and reports.
  • Coordinating company general meetings, employee events or activities.
  • Coordinate workspace, computer, supplies, facilities, equipment and relevant matters for employees
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as may arise

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in human resources.
  • Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.
  • Protecting the interests of all employees.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Additional training/certification in Payroll Management – may be plus
