QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The O&M Company which has a foreign shareholder is looking for its Human Resources Manager.

The HR Manager is responsible for all activities related to HR operations and to the overall performance of the HR structure. The position’s holder is responsible towards compliance with the Human Resources Management Code, internal rules, all local regulations and Health & Safety rules that apply in the Company.

Therefore, the position’s holder is in a strong business partner relationship with Senior management and operational leaders. He/she has also a strong leadership over a team to lead change and continuous improvement of HR service.

The main missions consist in the following performance areas :

1/ Hands-on management of HR operations.

The HR Manager coordinates, animates and monitors all HR activities. He/She is responsible for the workflow of HR operations consisting mainly in recruitment, skills development, training management, mobility, staff relation, application of regulations, remuneration & benefits and payroll, etc.

2/ Continuous improvement of the HR infrastructure to meet operational strategic needs, efficiency of the HR processes.

Looking for continuous improvement, the HR Manager develops policies and processes that meet the management’s requirement set in the Performance Management standards. He/she monitors the KPI associated and leads the team towards performance including on H&S aspects.

He/she contributes, coordinates to design and to the roll out of HR IT tools.

In a continuous improvement mindset, the responsibility of the HR Manager is to ensure the performance of the HR operations, the satisfaction of employees and management, the development of high standards in the quality of service, the leadership over the team.

Other responsibilities:

Change management: in close partnership with the senior leadership team, which he/she is part of, the HR Manager develops the appropriate HR vision considering the operational stakes within the whole organization of his/her scope.

He/she contributes to the managerial practice’s development, showing the direction, fostering co-development and empowerment and leading change.

He/she works in close and efficient cooperation with the

shareholder’s Local Office HR Development Manager

based in Turkey and with the HR community of the mother-company.

In terms of reporting, he/she analyses the KPI that are proper to the HR function. He/she reports the status of actions to the different management committees of the organization.

Advising operational managers in their team’s daily HR questions, the HR Manager should proactively provide an efficient level of consultancy that can be considered as hands-on but also innovative, serving operational stakes. As an influencer, the HR Manager recommends best practices and he/she also advises people in their development’s path.

The HR Manager is developing the sense of belonging to the Company, being an ambassador of the employer’s identity. Therefore, he/she contributes/supports the management in the communication to the Staff. Ensuring working conditions are a breeding ground to skills development and collective performance, the role is also responsible to fertilize a good social climate.

With +5 years of experience as HR Manager,

in an international context, the candidate develops a perfect knowledge of HR standards and practice in complex organizations / activities.

Must be able to formalize structured processes and to lead them. In particular on these few aspects:

> Definition and management of work flows and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.

> Design and roll-out of HRIS tools or non-IT set of tools.

> Consistency in management’s practice.

> Sense of belonging of employees.

> Influencing/ accompanying Senior exec positions into HR matters.

>Fluent in English

Ability to observe, to create links between people, to influence and to advice, to organize, to drive and to do on his/her own.
