QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering,
Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant areas,
Excellent command of spoken and written English (A part of interviews will be conducted in English),
Legally required Health, Safety and Environment Certification (B class),
In depth knowledge of legislation and business processes in environmental health and safety systems, ecology and environmental protection, industrial safety,
Solution and result oriented, strong communication skills, dynamic, prone to teamwork,
No military obligation for male candidates,
Job Description:
Implementation of legal requirements and guidelines in occupational safety and health protection,
Coordination of risk assessment (workplace evaluations),
Create effective emergency response plan, train workforce and coordinate test plans on a defined frequency and validate emergency action plan,
Coordination and participation in implementation measures for the improvement of occupational safety,
Develop/review and provide safety training in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy.,
Perform job analyses / hazard identification and risk assessment and developing safe work procedures as it pertains to employees' and contractors' job tasks, equipment, tools and special projects,
Investigate, analyze, and report fully, completely, and accurately details of accidents/incidents/near misses. Identify root cause(s) and contributing factors. Recommend processes and procedures that eliminate/reduce the possibility of accidents/incidents,
Assist in implementation of all safety and environmental related policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy, including emergency procedures, hazardous waste management, safety system program plan or equivalent, and accident investigations,
Assist in management of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification of Site, Joint health and safety committees, incident analysis, regular inspections, safety orientation, and safety observation programs,
Respond and resolve employee safety concerns, complaints and finding from inspections,
Regularly (monthly) communicate safety performance to site,
Support plant management, Leaders, employees on all occupational safety and health topics,
Support global operation procedure implementation of site.
