QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a Hygiene and Sanitation Engineer for our global customer operates in food industry.

  • Degree in engineering with specialization Food engineering or Chemical engineering.
  • Having at least 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • Can read, write, speak English very well.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and having flexibilty.
  • Open minded, researcher.
  • Team player, self motivated, result oriented.
  • Excellent influencing persuading negotiating skills.
  • Be organized, systematic, reliable and dynamic.

JOB DESCRIPTON:

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve on sanitation and pest control programs and KPI’s for plant.
  • Verify adherence to sanitation, GMP’s to ensure food safety.
  • Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Sanitation and pest control contracts.
  • Interface with all levels of the plant team (leadership, supervisors, operators and external crews) in communication, training and facilitating compliance.
  • Ensure plant is in a sanitary condition at all times.
  • Engages the plant leadership team in sanitation challenges requiring cross functional support.
  • Troubleshoots persistent sanitation issues to identify deficiencies in sanitation program or equipment design.
  • Sets the direction for ongoing sanitation verification activities.
  • Understands process and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate identified risk or opportunities to improve plant performance.
  • Responsible for review of environmental monitoring data and development of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Partners with plant and engineering equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance to hygienic design principles.
  • Develops and implements all sanitation/pest control training for all employees.
  • Engages technical experts to troubleshoot sanitation challenges, identify technology and methodology to improve sanitation effectiveness.
  • Reports to Quality Food Safety Manager.
